Listening to The Living Sistersspeak in their interview with MBE host Jason Bentley – including their synchronized “hello!” –they truly sounded like sisters. They were supportive of each other and teasing each other endlessly in a lighthearted way. The band is a super group of singers from LA’s Eastside music scene – Inara George (Bird & the Bee), Eleni Mandell, and Becky Stark (Lavender Diamond). Their harmonies are undeniably beautiful and I was really wowed by tracks like “Hold Back” and “Blue.” They even surprised us with a cover of David Bowie classic “Starman” (from his album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”). Enjoy a full session of tunes from some of LA’s finest singers here
