Bonobo Coachella 2014
In the last year and a half Bonobo, aka Simon Green, has traveled over 180k miles and played to over 2 million people at 175 shows in 30 countries. He’ll land in the Haunted Halls of the Park Plaza for our grand event next month.

We’re happy to premiere a track from Bonobo’s forthcoming live album — “The North Borders Tour — Live” — which was recorded at London’s legendary Alexandra Palace and will be out on October 6! (Editor’s Note: DJ Jeremy Sole is the opening DJ for Bonobo on his US tour!)

I had the great pleasure of seeing Les Sins live at FYF Fest and it was easily one of my favorite sets of the weekend.

Really, Chaz Bundick can do no wrong.

As Toro y Moi, he was KCRW’s most played artist of 2013 and I expect his house music alter ego will get a similar reception as the station.

Chaz will be behind the decks bringing the four-on-the-floor vibe and you can hear his latest track below.

Tom Vek’s new album was met with a lot of excitement by KCRW DJs and we’re thrilled to host him for a live performance.

The edgy indie rocker always adds a chaotic air to his otherwise poppy and danceable songs, which sets him apart from all the rest.

The new tracks have a feverish groove that will be perfect for the dancefloor. Here is a special Halloween re-edit of his track “Pushing Your Luck“.

Hollie Cook is the daughter of Sex Pistols’ drummer Paul Cook and Culture Club backup singer, Jeni.

Boy George may be her godfather but, what’s most notable about Hollie, is that she’s released two excellent reggae-tinged pop albums over the last few years.

We love her style and look forward to seeing her in the Haunted Dancehall.

For an aural treat, check out dub versions of songs from her debut, courtesy of Prince Fatty. And here’s a free download of her album track “Twice“.

Fool’s Gold are one of our local favorites and they have a new album on the horizon! They combine a variety of influences and musical threads, drawing from Africa, the Middle East and beyond to create party music that anyone and everyone can enjoy.

We’re offering the first single off their new record as a free download as part of Today’s Top Tune and you can stream it below!

Up and coming star Chris Malinchak broke into the House scene with his 2013 smash hit “So Good To Me.” The Brooklyn-based producer is now ready to take on the world, starting with this West Coast visit. He appeared on Metropolis earlier this year and you can stream a mix of his music he made especially for us here.

Gypsy jazz collective Noah and the Megafauna will roam the halls with a 10-piece ensemble. Expect a raucous, whiskey-drenched experience from another era when you see them live.

They’re prepping their sophomore release now and we’ve got our hands on the first single, “Fanfare”, which Anne Litt has been spinning. Check it out below!
