The Skiffle Players – Skiff

The Skiffle Players serve up good-time California country; perfectly suited for the open road, your favorite watering hole, or back porch. This low-key, supergroup features Cass McCombs, hometown hero Farmer Dave Scher (Beachwood Sparks etc), and Neal Casal (guitarist extraordinaire of the cosmic psych outfit Circles Around the Sun). Very impressive pedigree.

Building off their fab 2016 debut Skifflin’, they returned this year with a fresh approach for Skiff. Each member contributed to the writing of the album, and they round it out taking turns leading the band. The result recalls the sound of golden era, AM Radio folk rock.
