Stay close to kcrw.com this week for a trio of live studio sessions. All three artists are on the rise so check ’em out… you’ll want the inside scoop so you can say you were there first! Plus – we have a very special Valentine’s Day playlist and commentary from one of a kind entertainer, Reggie Watts. Check the schedule below and plan accordingly.

Tuesday, February 14 – 10am (PT)

Eccentric, hilarious and endlessly creative, Reggie Watts is truly one of a kind. We called on the comedian/musician/beatboxer/bandleader to give us some lessons on love for our Valentine’s Day special. We air Straight From the Heart: A Romantic Adventure with Reggie Watts.

Wednesday, February 15 – 11:15am (PT)

Local rock trio Cherry Glazerr, led by 19-year-old singer Clementine Creevy, signed to Secretly Canadian for the release of their latest album “Apocalipstick”. They stop by our studio in the middle of a cross country tour.

Thursday, February 16 – 11:15am (PT)

Gavin Turek delivers dancefloor-ready disco soul and has been compared to Beyonce for her incredible on-stage charisma. The LA native joins us around the release of her new EP “Good Look for You” for a live set and interview with DJ Raul Campos.

Friday, February 17 – 11:15am (PT)

Sydney trio Middle Kids immediately caught our attention with catchy, finely crafted pop songs and the vocals of lead singer Hannah Joy. We’re excited to host them for a live session.
