Emmit Fenn made his voice heard in 2017, with two EP release: Prologue and Eclipse. They both showcased his versatility in production, songwriting, and composing. Growing up in Berkley, CA, he made it clear that he wanted a life in music and moved to Los Angeles.

At the end of 2018 – which was a big year, working on collaborations with Billie Eilish, Vic Mensa, and scoring a new TV show – he reimagined a new version of Coldplay’s Yellow.

After chatting with Emmit, he mentioned how every time he heard Yellow he couldn’t get it out of his head and he had to put his own unique minimal spin on it with distinct phrasing.

Emmit blends his smooth vocals with his chilled out cinematic production and brings in a vocoder at the end of the song to give you the chills.

His debut album is planned for 2019, and based on what we’ve heard so far, the future is looking bright for this artist.
