Track Premiere: LEAN “On the Fence”

LEAN is a fairly new collaboration between musicians Stephen Johnson and Kyle McCammon. The two met late in 2016, immediately bonded over their shared musical influences, and decided to form a band. Things moved quickly from there as they made their live debut in March of 2017, and released 5 singles that year. Their debut full length, Years, is due out on May 25th of this year.

From that record, we’re honored to premiere the effervescent single “On the Fence.” It’s a deceptively laid back sounding track considering that it’s lyrics are all about figuring out how to manage a grudge. Subject matter aside – this is a chill, breezy tune that has “song of the summer” written all over it.
