Not too long ago I came upon a band from England that grabbed my attention called Trophy Wife. They are a three-piece band from Oxford that released their debut single “Microlite” at the end of last year.

Stream “Microlite”:

The song is about a journey that never ends, with sparse melodies that are backed by a electrobeat. Trophy Wife have clearly taken a range of influence from acts like Tortoise and Germany’s The Notwist.
