All of our DJs receive hundreds of CDs a month to consider for airplay. In this regular feature, KCRW DJ Chuck Pcatalogues his musical bounty from the Post Office each week.

Holidays finally draw to a close and the cold weather is here. Snow in Santa Clarita? Almost makes me wish I still lived out there… almost.

Here’s some of the goodies I scored today at Ye Olde Post.

1) Disappears “Guider” — another blurry indie rock rekkid sure to make the kids swoon, hot on the heels of last years, Lux.

2) The Veils “Troubles Of The Brain” — follow up EP to Sun Gangs. I expect good things…

3)Bardo Pond “Bardo Pond” — used to love these guys when I saw them in the 90s, so I’m stoked to see something new from them.

New Tapes ‘n’ Tapes album, Outside, is this week’s honorable mention (mostly cause this is all I got this week), but the lead off single was very nice.

Keep warm… by snuggling up to KCRW this winter!

Speak tonight at 12a.

Thanks for listening.
