I first encountered the band Wildcat! Wildcat! a few years back after stumbling across a track called “End of the World Everyday“ somewhere on the blogosphere.

This song captivated me from the get-go… a slow-burner with a spacey, cinematic intro that evolves into a tasty slice of synth-pop. I was hooked…

Not sure if the song ever got a proper release, but I was happy to see it revived for their forthcoming album ‘No Moon At All’ which drops in August on Downtown Records.

I’ve been hearing about this L.A. trio’s spectacular live show for a while now too, so I jumped at the chance to host them live this Sunday afternoon at the Peterson Museum, where I’ll be spinning an opening set.

Here’s the lead single from the new record, co-produced by White Sea (M83’s Morgan Kibby).
