Anne Litt broadcasts LIVE from the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

Today, my show was purely Bowie inspired – be it collaborations, artists he influenced, covers or purely songs in tribute.

This show is all David Bowie as well as covers of his music. I’m not sure that I’ve ever loved doing a radio show more than I did this one and Sunday’s.

UK band The Boxer Rebellion returns to KCRW’s studios for an exclusive acoustic performance, including a new song written for their feature film debut. The band plays themselves in the new Drew Barrymore film “Going The Distance” and wrote an original song for the soundtrack. This will be the first performance of that track, and it falls right into place with the epic, sweeping sounds they are known for.

Pete Yorn performs songs from his new CD Back and Fourth on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am. Anne Litt sits in for Jason Bentley from 9am to noon.

Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros make their worldwide radio debut when Anne Litt guest hosts Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
