Henry Rollins: KCRW Broadcast #906 (Case Of The Punks)
A mix of all kinds, from all over and all time.

Fanatic! I hope you had a good week with lots of music listened to. Apparently, if you’re in North America, you’re going to be in for some heavy weather of some kind over the weekend and into the week. If you’re looking at a lot of snow, I hope you’ve prepared yourself.
I’ve been working away on writing projects and other tasks that keep me desk bound for hours at a time but I’m still getting some good listening in. I’ve been checking out a lot of 7” records. It’s probably my favorite medium. All activity to required, the interaction with the media, it’s like listening manually. I’ve put together a small set up at my desk where I have a turntable on my left and speakers in front of me. I can take a stack of 7” records and listen to them as I get work done. It’s great. I got out all my Bikini Kill 7”s and played them two days ago. It had been awhile. They’re great. I think there’s a cool reissue series of some of their records, they look really cool.
Tonight we’ve got what I think is a well balanced mix through both hours. I’ve played the tracks from start to finish twice and I’m liking it.
I’m glad we’re heading into another year of music together, thanks so much for tuning in.
Keep listening to music and STAY FANATIC!!!
