LeRoy Downs has been active in the jazz industry for the past twenty years, producing jazz radio programs, hosting festivals, and curating concerts.

Today's show is a special tribute to Bo Leibowtiz.

Vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson (1941-2016) made a huge impact on jazz music with his improvisational style.

LeRoy Downs will be joining me on Strictly Jazz for a 3 hr. tribute to Ornette Coleman, who died last Wednesday at the age of 85.
