Above & Beyond

The UK-based EDM trio Above & Beyond have built a massive following over the past decade, playing live and DJing major festivals around the world. Through their own Anjunabeats label the band has released numerous big dance anthems, staying true to purist Trance sound over the years. Recently, however, the group has tried something new and unexpected - performing their biggest tracks in an acoustic arrangement. Following positive reviews of their shows in London and Los Angeles, the group has now confirmed the release of Above & Beyond Acoustic in late January. Jono, Paavo, and Tony sat down with KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley on the eve of their two sold out Los Angeles performances at The Greek to talk about their motivations for trying things a new way, and what they had planned for the new year.
