When Australian dance trio Rüfüs Du Sol burst onto the electronic scene in 2013 with their debut album Atlas, it peaked at #1 in the land down under.

Their latest record Solace was one of last year’s most anticipated albums crafted by arguably the world’s biggest electronic band at the moment. Almost a year ago today, we welcomed the gents to KCRW for their debut live performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic ahead of Solace’s release. Watch that live set back !

Now, they’ve returned to join us for an exclusive guest mix on Metropolis, celebrating the album’s one-year anniversary, with SOLACERemixed. An all-encompassing remix collection of Rüfüs’s original tracks by some of their favorite house and techno producers like Cassian, Hot Since 82, Justin Martin, Lastlings, Will Clarke and many more. The album serves as a testament to the trio’s clubland roots and their newfound role as global curators within the scene.

Rüfüs is still running a victory lap for Solace's success with a North American tour through early October, including sold-out shows in Austin, New Orleans, Chicago, Brooklyn, and the tour closer right here in L.A. at the Los Angeles Historic State Park.

With huge milestones in the past year, the band is one to watch, and we could not be more thrilled to welcome Rüfüs Du Sol to Metropolis.

Playlist:

Rüfüs du Sol - Treat You Better (Cassian remix)

Rampa - No ID

Adana Twins - My Computer ft. Glowal (Original mix)

Rinzen & Enamour - Quark

Betoko & Malikk - Lovve (ft. Sevenever)

Roderic & Itai - Metamorphosis (Original mix)
