MBE Apr. 4: Grammy-winning faves, Japanese sax, and Afro-Brazilian samba

Hosted by and

We could all use a little Monday boost, and we've got tracks lined up to do just that. We take it back to the 1980s with a previously unreleased album from Japanese saxophonist-producer Yasuaki Shimizu, an unearthed Afro-Brazilian song with some serious samba rhythms, and the latest from !!! that starts out soft but builds into something you can certainly groove to.

Plus, we celebrate last night’s Grammys with some favorite cuts from the evening’s award winners like Arooj Aftab, Tyler the Creator, and Rubén Blades y Roberto Delgado & Orquesta.
