Born in 1953, he picked up the tabla and would find himself in London. He’d come to be known as the sultan of swing and worked alongside Peter Gabriel, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant. But it’s is song “Khurara Khurasa” that would change the landscape and bounce of Texas and NYC’s rap sound.
