Over his 50 year career, Abiodun Oyewole has been a poet, author, teacher, and most notably a founder of The Last Poets, considered by many to be the first hip-hop group.
Oyewole says his new album, “Gratitude,” is the project of an older, wiser man, reflecting on his life and spiritual quests. We'll enjoy a selection of his sage words together.
