Jan 6, 2025

Ease into the first official week of 2025 with Todd Rundgren at his absolute smoothest. With our pals over at Press Play diving into the discourse around Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary (now streaming to much acclaim on Max), we wanted in on the genre action ourselves. Tune in for the blood-pressure reducing effects of Mr. Rundgren’s oft-recorded jam “Hello It’s Me” — a shape of so much Yacht Rock that was to come. Plus, another documentary nod in the form of a spin for Diane Luckey (aka Q Lazzarus’) “Goodbye Horses,” a semi-surprise new LP drop from Bad Bunny, and “Ferry Lady” — the latest single ahead of Panda Bear’s forthcoming Sinister Grift.
