    Jun 12, 2024

Is Toro y Moi tilting towards stadiums with what feels like a more expansive and emotional version of his signature, sonic waviness? Tune in to this MBE for his latest single “Tuesday” and judge for yourself. His new album Hole Erth is set for release on Sept. 6 via Dead Oceans and boasts features from Porches, Kevin Abstract, and Benjamin Gibbard to name just a few. Chaz Bear just might be entering his emo era… we’re listening closely and will keep you apprised. Plus, Jensen McRae’s latest keenly observed opus, “Massachusetts” is available for your listening pleasure as part of the MBE whole, AND it’s available for you to download until midnight on Wednesday, June 12 as Today’s Top Tune. Fun fact, “Massachusetts” is McRae’s first single for her new label Dead Oceans, which makes her and Toro y Moi labelmates. Imagine the collab potential there…
