Buckle up for a short but incredibly sweet ride with soulful singer Mereba on her 2019 release “Highway 10.” Then we head on down the 405 to Hawthorne, hometown of genre-blending crooner Cuco, with a cut titled “Time Machine” off his forthcoming record “Fantasy Getaway.” Follow that to Compton for a dose of Kendrick as we cruise along to “You Ain’t Gotta Lie” off the critically acclaimed 2015 record “To Pimp a Butterfly.”

Plus, multi-instrumentalist Sam Gendel is joined by 11-year-old vocalist Antonia, wise beyond her years, who improvises lyrics over Gendel's experimental glitchy bebop tapestry on “Wondering, Waiting”.

And an extra treat for your Thursday: We have a prize pack to see Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina, which includes a box at the Bowl for 4 and parking! If you haven't won anything from us in the past 90 days, enter for your chance to win. Good luck!
