You know what they say about all work and no play. Well, in the world of Manchester-based producer Werkha, “All Werk Is Play.” That's the title of his new album fusing analogue jazz-funk with modern dance music sensibilities. Single “Move Different” is just the track we need for moments that make us feel connected as humans.

Radiant indie-rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs return from a nine-year hiatus with the announcement of their fifth studio album “Cool It Down,” due out September 30. Their new single “Spitting Off the Edge of the World,” featuring Perfume Genius, is giving extreme main character energy while confronting the state of the environment and the damage we’re doing to the Earth. Lush and heady, just how we like it.

Another artist both nourishing and leaving us wanting more is English producer and DJ Lil Silva (debut album coming July 15), who teams up with longtime collaborator Sampha on the emotive “Backwards.”
