From Bamako, Mali to Baltimore, Maryland, renowned singer and women's rights activist Oumou Sangaré planned to visit the US for a few weeks, but ended up staying much longer due to pandemic lockdown. She ended up loving Baltimore so much she bought the house where she recorded her recently released ninth album, “Timbuktu.”

You’ll also hear the brand new track from Local Natives’ Kelcey Ayer under his Jaws of Love moniker. “Patricia” is the title track from the forthcoming EP, due May 27 via Chewing Inc. Plus, we’ve got your chance to win tickets to check out the current front-runner for Breakthrough Artist of 2022, Say She She, on May 18 at Lodge Room, featuring our very own Novena Carmel behind the decks all night long.
