Recorded in Los Angeles with D'Angelo's rhythm section, Bahamas's new album has a deeper and more dynamic feel. Inspired by the titans he was working -- bassist extraordinaire Pino Palladino and one of the most recorded drummers in R&B history James Gadson -- the songs came quickly. His guitar work and sweeping hooks make songs like "Way With Words" unmistakably Bahamas territory.
