Cassandra Violet: ‘Swim Test’

During the day, you’ll find Cassandra Violet teaching English in Boyle Heights but after work is done, she writes hopeful songs like “Swim Test” which is based on her father who lived by the beach for decades yet doesn't know how to swim. Her debut album "Maybe It's Not Too Late" comes out this spring.
