Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings have been making beautiful music together for years. As the Dave Rawlings Machine the duo have written and recorded their new album, Nashville Obsolete, on analog tape in Nashville. They have recently earned a Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting from the Americana Music Association, and there’s no doubt why when you hear "The Weekend."
