Lanu is Lance Ferguson, leader of Australia funk/soul band The Bamboos. He uses his solo alias for Her 12 Faces, an experimental side project where he melds indie, dream pop, lounge, and folk with contemporary beats. For Today's Top Tune, he invites Australian pop sensation Megan Washington to provide jazzy vocals on "Hold Me Down."
