Sunny War: ‘Lucid Lucy’

This pandemic has intensified the work of prolific artist Sunny War, known for her inventive guitar style and as half of the LA-based duo War & Pierce. In fact, it’s given her incentive to give more to the community outside of music by founding an LA chapter of the nonprofit Food Not Bombs. A new album on the horizon features “Lucid Lucy,” which is an example of War’s honest songwriting.
