LA Unified Selects a District Insider as New Superintendent

Hosted by

In the search for a new Superintendent, LA's elected school board paid a head-hunting firm to search the nation. Now the search is over — and the winner is Michelle King. She started out as a student aide at LAUSD, became a teacher, a principal — and finally the chief deputy to the last two superintendents. All seven board members made the choice unanimous.
