Andre Previn died today in his Manhattan home at age 89. He won four Academy Awards for composing and arranging music for films like “My Fair Lady,” “Gigi,” and “Porgy and Bess.” He also won several Grammys, and was the music director of the L.A. Philharmonic in the 1980s.
