Ahead of Gov. Brown’s climate summit, activists are upset with his history of allowing oil wells in California

Hosted by

Today Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill committing California to a carbon free electricity grid by 2045. He’s also kicking off a global climate summit on Wednesday. But tens of thousands of people protested over the weekend in San Francisco, calling for more action. Some 800 groups have signed onto a campaign called Brown’s Last Chance, which demands a commitment to zero fossil fuels.
