LA Brea Tar Pits to be redesigned

The La Brea Tar Pits have waited nearly 40,000 years for a makeover. Three architectural firms are rethinking the 12-acre area, which includes the tar pits, the George C. Page Museum, and surrounding park land for a complete redesign. Also, the LA art scene welcomes artist David Hammons back after a 45-year hiatus.
