Gun control measures are picking up steam in Congress, and not just among Democrats. South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham is pushing legislation to help states enact so-called red flag laws, which would allow law enforcement to temporarily confiscate weapons from people deemed potentially dangerous. In the House, Dayton Republican Michael Turner said he would support banning the sale of military-style weapons to civilians, and putting limits on magazine capacity.
