Trump’s Attorney General nominee William Barr to face confirmation hearing

President Trump’s nominee to head the Justice Department is expected sit for Senate hearings starting Tuesday. William Barr held the same job during the George H.W. Bush administration. Before being nominated by Trump, Barr was critical of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election meddling. Today, he vowed to let Mueller finish his probe. The move was seen as a way to placate Democrats, who say they’re worried about Barr’s earlier comments.
