One of the most beloved novelists in LA has made a name for himself by writing about the opposite of L.A. J. Ryan Stradal's second novel is set in small-town Minnesota. It chronicles the inner lives of several generations of Midwestern women: their families, their dreams, the food they cook, and especially the beer they brew. The book is called “The Lager Queen of Minnesota."
