Paul Manafort has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison. That’s a pretty good deal for him, considering that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team wanted him to serve as many as 24 years. Manafort was convicted of bank and tax fraud for things he did before he joined the Trump campaign. The judge in the case cited Manafort’s “otherwise blameless life” as he handed down the relatively lite sentence.
