With more natural disasters, insurance companies withdraw from high-risk areas

In Redding, California, firefighters are still battling the large Mountain Fire that broke out late Thursday morning. Californians usually want to move back and rebuild after fires are put out. But now, more and more insurers won’t sell policies to people in areas prone to fires, hurricanes, and floods.
