The Silver Bough is Montecito’s $550 a plate restaurant

Hosted by

Located inside the historic Montecito Inn, The Silver Bough is young chefs Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas Lee’s most recent addition to Coast Village Road. The all-inclusive $550 a plate, 8-seat restaurant offers a dinner that follows a storyline drawn from the tradition ancient Celtic folklore. The couple started their first restaurant, Scratch Bar, in 2013 and have several other restaurants under the Scratch Restaurants group in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.

The Santa Barbara Independent ’s senior food editor, Matt Kettman, recently visited the restaurant and says his 23-course eating and entertainment adventure included curated pairings using ingredients and wines from around the world.
