Hosted by

A group of leaders from the business and political communities, and people who represent Southern California utilities got together this week to talk about earthquake preparedness. And they came to the conclusion that a lot of folks aren’t taking seriously the threat of a big tremor that could shake the areas infrastructure and economy to its core. Their meeting, coincidentally enough, comes at about the same time that researchers are studying different kinds of shifting – more specifically, vertical movement – along the San Andreas Fault in Southern California.
