Can LAPD Change under Chief Parks' Leadership?

Hosted by
Chief Bernard Parks has until February to decide if he wants another 5-year term. Meantime, Mayor Hahn is pushing programs Parks doesn't like, the federal consent-decree monitor is casting a cold eye on the LA Police Department, and the Police Protective League, which represents most of the rank and file, is giving the chief bad grades. But Black elected officials say it's time to stop all the "bashing." We speak with Congresswoman Diane Watson, Police Protective League President Mitzi Grasso, and civil rights attorney Connie Rice about the latest issues surrounding LA's most controversial institution.
