Jerry Brown Delivers His State of the State
In his State of the State address tonight, Governor Jerry Brown invoked challenged Republicans to let Californians vote on his plan to extend taxes in order to save public services. He said it's time for Sacramento to seek voters' guidance and that anything else would be "unconscionable." He also defended his plan to shut down redevelopment agencies and spend the money for police, fire and other local expenses.
