"Billionaires' Beach" a Milestone in Malibu Public Beach Battle

Tomorrow, beach goers in Malibu will have something to celebrate: public access to Carbon Beach, also called "Billionaires' Beach" because of the multi-million-dollar homes that line that piece of coastline. Lisette Ackerberg and her family are paying the Coastal Commission $1.1 million in fines to build and maintain a pathway from Pacific Coast Highway to the sand and the water.
