The last word on Belmont?
Will it be a shiny new school for 5,000 students or a warehouse and office space? Shutting out the students will mean many more years of overcrowding, bussing and waiting for students around the Belmont Learning Center. Letting students in could mean hundreds of millions of dollars in future litigation. Where will the district look to settle the overcrowding issue? Are small schools in high rises the answer?
