In the last days of the race for Mayor of LA, charges and counter-charges of "smear and innuendo" are filling the air. It's a close race between two liberal Democrats campaigning on personal qualifications. Tonight we speak with both candidates.
- Newsmaker: Commentary on the Mayoral Election - Steve Soboroff, the candidate who came in third in the April primary, got almost as many votes as Hahn and Villaraigosa-showing particular strength in the San Fernando Valley. He's a Republican, and he's refused to endorse either one of the liberal Democrats who will face off in next Tuesday's general election.
