    Self-Portraits by Artists

    An artist in the studio has constant access to one particular model: the self. Painted self-portraits have been a constant throughout history while after the invention of photography, artists more often turned the lens on themselves. Some of those images are the gist of an exhibition at Art Center’s gallery, This Is Not A Selfie: Photographic Self-Portraits from the Audrey and Sydney Irmas Collection.
