The Lover's Dictionary (Farrar, Straus & Giroux)

David Levithan has written a dictionary for lovers. The entries in it could apply to any romantic relationship, and yet, as you will hear in this conversation, the specificity of the entries gives the characters unanticipated depth. With each reading of the book, one can identify with the lovers more deeply because it becomes clear that these lovers could be of any gender and the words that define their love are universal.
