    When Dell Parsons, the 15-years-old narrator of Richard Ford's new novel, Canada (Ecco), discovers that his parents are bank robbers and then witnesses two murders, his life flies apart. In this second conversation, we go deeper into the themes of the novel. Ford confesses that he found his own style so expressive that there are times when it completely carries the novel.
