    This week on New Ground we have an interview/performance with Swedish rock band The Sounds. In their first Los Angeles area appearance, the female-fronted ensemble talks to host Chris Douridas about how they came to be signed by James Iha from the Smashing Pumpkins and their impressions of the U.S. They also perform ripping versions of tracks from their debut album.
