Legendary and eccentric producer/artist David Axelrod will be Gary Calamar's special guest on the Open Road this Sunday 12/16 in the 10 o'clock hour. David will be talking about his new self-titled release, his other-worldly and highly collectible solo albums from the late 60's-early 70's, as well as his classic production work with everyone from Stan Kenton to Lou Rawls to The Electric Prunes. In recent years his songs have been sampled by hip hop artists and rare groove dj's Lauren Hill and DJ Shadow.
