    Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize-winning food writer for the Los Angeles Times. This week, he visits Seafood Palace, a Chiu Chow seafood specialist (formerly known as Seafood Village) with locations in Monterey Park and Temple City. He recommends the house-special fried crab, sautéed scallops with asparagus, house-special steamed chicken and salted-fish-and-chicken fried rice.
