The largest Banana Museum in the world is coming to Southern California – just a hop and a skip from LA proper. Fred Garbutt of La Quinta reportedly purchased 17,000 pieces of “bananabilia” on eBay and is building a museum devoted to the fingered fruit. Slated to open in January the museum will house items such as the banana couch, a gold plated banana, a banana boggie board and much much more.
